ROSA MARIA ISAMA

Rosa María Isama, at 50 years old, lives in Cuaraburo, where she has dedicated her life to raising her six children. Each of them represents a source of pride and hope, as four are currently in school, striving for a better future. Her husband, who works in construction within the community, joins her in the daily effort to support their families.

In addition to her children, Rosa has the responsibility of caring for her brother Manuel, who, at 48 years old, faces a severe visual disability. This situation adds an extra challenge to her life, but Rosa approaches it with love and dedication. Together, they engage in agriculture and the care of small animals, providing them with food and sometimes extra income.

Rosa’s life took a positive turn on August 2, 2024, when her life farm was implemented thanks to the Pan de Vida Foundation. She learned about the Foundation through her relative, Sister Luzmila Cachimuel, and since then, her life has improved significantly.

Participating in the implementation of more s in Cuaraburo and Trojaloma, as well as attending the seedling workshop, has provided her with valuable skills and strengthened her community. Rosa now has more confidence in her abilities and feels she has built a collaborative bond with her neighbors.

Rosa María describes the Pan de Vida Foundation as a helping hand that has accompanied her on her journey. Thanks to the support she received, she faces each challenge with renewed faith and hope. As Psalm 37:4 says: “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” She feels deeply grateful for the opportunities provided for her and for the promising future she is building for her children and family.
