When Miladys Atencio arrived in Ecuador with her family in 2019, she carried with her a simple yet powerful dream: to build a better future for her children.
Originally from Venezuela and holding a degree in Business Administration, Miladys and her husband, José, have worked tirelessly to provide for their family while facing the challenges of raising their two sons. One of them, Dylam, has been diagnosed with Level 2 autism and requires ongoing medical care, specialized evaluations, and treatment, creating a significant financial burden for the family.
Despite these challenges, Miladys has shown remarkable strength and resilience. Her love, patience, and dedication to her children are evident in every aspect of her life. Although they do not have close relatives in Ecuador, she and her husband remain united and committed to the well-being of their family.
Since joining Pan de Vida in October 2025, Miladys has found a community that walks alongside her on this journey. Her children have participated in VBS camps, received Christmas gifts and treats, benefited from medical support, and received children’s Bibles designed especially for them. These opportunities have brought encouragement, joy, and meaningful support to the entire family.
Miladys is also part of Pan de Vida’s Shark Tank entrepreneurship program, where she has distinguished herself through her commitment and perseverance. Her consistent attendance and active participation reflect her desire to continue learning and creating new opportunities for her family. She is currently preparing to participate in the upcoming Shark Tank competition, where she will have the opportunity to present her business idea and take another important step toward strengthening her entrepreneurial journey.
Today, Miladys continues to invest in her growth and develop new skills, determined to create a brighter future for her children. Through it all, she remains confident that God has a purpose for her life and for her family.
Thanks to God’s provision and the support of those who believe in our mission, Pan de Vida can continue walking alongside families like Miladys’, providing tools, opportunities, and hope as they build a better future.
