Hello everyone!
My name is Cassie Chapman, and I’m from the United States. I recently celebrated my 21st birthday and am set to graduate from my university this December, where I’m studying social work. For as long as I can remember, the Lord has placed a deep desire in my heart to share His love with the world. Currently, I’m spending four months in Ecuador, interning at Pan De Vida for my social work program. I can’t express how grateful I am for this opportunity.
Every aspect of this organization—its environment, its people, and its community service—is richly infused with the spirit of Jesus. It has been a privilege to learn from the incredible social workers here, and I’ve already gained so much from their wisdom and experience.
Here is a fun fact about my time here thus far: I’ve discovered a newfound love for coffee, which is quite the revelation since I’ve never been a fan before! Ecuador has truly been a dream come true, offering me invaluable cultural experiences, exciting adventures, and the joy of meeting wonderful people.
