Martha Yugcha is a single mother of two children. Her story begins in a season of deep need. Before knowing Pan de Vida, her daily life was marked by economic hardship and constant worry about providing food for her children. She describes that time as one filled with sadness, uncertainty, and distress.
In the midst of that reality, God opened a door through a friend who was facing a similar situation. Together, they came to Pan de Vida seeking help, without knowing that this step would mark a turning point in her life. There, Martha began receiving food assistance for her children, hot meals on Sundays, and access to medical appointments. It was not only material support, but relief, dignity, and hope in a critical moment.
The journey has not been easy. Martha lives in Machachi, and one of her children has autism, which makes long trips especially difficult and, at times, impossible. Even so, her gratitude remains firm. Every support received has been a response from God in the midst of limitations and exhaustion.
Later, Martha was invited to participate in the entrepreneurship training program. For her, this process was much more than learning about business. It was a space where she began to believe again that her dreams were still possible. She recognizes that God was present in every class, using the trainers to strengthen her faith and remind her that she was not alone.
Moved by that conviction, she participated in the Pan de Vida Shark Tank competition. With faith, courage, and perseverance, she presented her project and won first place. For Martha, this achievement was not a coincidence, but a confirmation that God honors those who trust in Him. She is deeply grateful to the Pan de Vida team and to everyone who made this award possible, recognizing that it was the push she needed to take the first step toward her entrepreneurship journey.
Today, Martha is not only working to support her family. Her project is born from her own experience as the mother of a child with autism and is designed to help other mothers facing the same reality. Her pain has been transformed into purpose, and her story into a source of hope for others.
Martha summarizes it clearly and humbly: all the glory and honor belong to God. She feels blessed, grateful, and convinced that this journey is only beginning. Her testimony is a living example of how God, through Pan de Vida, restores, empowers, and transforms lives even in the most difficult circumstances.
